And even once you get inside, there are no signs directing you to the bar. It was funny because there were a lot of people wandering around looking for the Owl Bar, but there are no signs outside on The Belvedere indicating it's in there. We went to the Owl Bar in The Belvedere afterwards and it was very nice. Don't make the mistake of buying one thinking you can take it into your seats.

You can buy drinks, but you have to drink them outside in the lobby area. You can't take beverages into the theater seating area. I couldn't see the right part of the stage from where I was. I moved towards the end of the show, but should have moved sooner. On the downside, the seats on the side on the upper tier are crappy (side sections 8 on the chart), so if you get stuck there, try to move to the straight away, higher tier if there are seats available there. The sound was the best I'd heard in a long time.

get there early or at least familiarize yourself with where other parking is beforehand. There was none available in the immediate vicinity (all spots taken), and I have no idea how far they had to drive to find some. Cars were being turned away and left to try to find street parking. There is a parking garage across the street ($11), but it filled to capacity quickly for the nearly sold-out show. Just in case anyone happens on this thread, I thought I'd give a run-down on my trip to the Lyric.įirst, parking was a nightmare.
